Simmaco Di Lillo

Simmaco is Co-Founder & CTO of Neuture.ai, leading the platform's data infrastructure, AI, and technical architecture.

A PhD Candidate in Mathematics at Tor Vergata and former visiting PhD student at New York's Flatiron Institute, he graduated cum laude in Mathematics at Pisa and in Applied Mathematics at Sapienza. He is lead author of Spectral Complexity of Deep Neural Networks in the SIAM Journal on Mathematics of Data Science, one of seven papers on the geometry of deep neural networks.

Long before Neuture.ai, he spent years as a volunteer ambulance responder with the Misericordia. That instinct to serve, to put skill in the hands of others, is what drives his work today: building technology that opens doors for students wherever they come from.
