Anna Väänänen

Anna is Head of Listed Impact at BNP Paribas Asset Management, a fund manager with thirty years analysing and investing in companies across a broad range of sectors.

An Economics graduate of the University of Helsinki, she began as an equity analyst in London before managing funds across the Nordics, Zurich, and Paris, becoming an early pioneer of impact investing in listed markets.

Growing up in Finland, where education is based on merit rather than wealth, gave her a lasting conviction: fair access to education is the most effective way to advance society. It is her "why" she supports Neuture.ai, whose mission she sees aligned to her values.
